Nice sounds, but keeps stopping after less than a minute.
Not designed for modern android os. Also I don't want app to have access to my storage
You can modify volumes for each sound, but when the sound loops, the volume is set back to default (100%)
Nerds updating as don't work very well for latest android os
App needs an update. And some questionable permissions as well. Why do you need the phone's identity? I understand the need for the phone status so you can automatically stop the payback of the sounds. But the phone ID? Unnecessary.
Way back in early 2010's I downloaded the free version and liked it so much I bought it. Then purchased it twice more for phone and other PC's. You used to be able to customize each sound in the theme from a large list of collective sounds up to six if I remember correctly. (like adding thunder to the horror theme even though it wasn't there to begin with). You could then customize each sounds volume and it was a great app. Now it sucks. Plus, asking for unnecessary permissions. They ruined it.
Such an amazing app, the sounds are soothing. The secondary sounds can be adjusted for a customised experience. The timer is a necessary and useful feature. I've used slerp bug when travelling to drown out generator or road sounds in hotel rooms, or when my neighbours are having a late night party. It works perfectly well and drowns out all unnecessary noise. The app developer is also super responsive and reached out to me immediately to solve an issue last year. I love Sleep Bug.
I was going to buy a sleep machine when someone suggested checking apps. Very pleased with this one. It doesn't run my battery down much and the timer works great. Always hope for more free sounds! it works. The biggest problem is the ads that can appear when u select another sound. Its not fun having a loud ad blasting through the house waking everyone in middle of night.
5 star if I could cast to Bluetooth or network speaker
Love this. Doesn't sound artificial or canned. The volume sliders and extra sounds are a great feature I didn't know I needed. So why not 5 stars? No leanback launcher support or ability to Cast. I can't listen to this on my android TV and I really want to. Edit: After using this for a while, some scenes just don't work for me. Weather does sound artificial and others are harsh. Why does zen garden sound like a playground? It doesn't change my rating though, because what works is worthwhile.
